Don’t hesitate to gift this to yourself. We all need to create the space to feel and listen to our vulnerable heart, so we can heal and find our way home to ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Giving yourself time to give back to yourself and create some mental space is crucial for your wellbeing. However, when our thinking levels are high it can be really hard to just sit and relax. This is when doodling can be a really helpful tool. Here are three reasons why doodling is a powerful tool for wellbeing: Taking time to get creative and go inward gives you a chance to reconnect to your heart, helping you come back to your true self. The act of creative self-expression gives our emotions a voice and helps to process, heal and empower us. Creating the space for ourselves helps our busy brain go quiet so we may start to focus on what is important and open up to possibilities.

No! You will receive a basic doodle lesson which will give you the confidence to get going. You don't need to be 'good' at it. Doodling is used as a tool to help you draw yourself into your heart and then draw yourself out again onto the page and beyond!  In this programme I will give you experience and guide you through the process of doodling 'The Heartworker's Way' - using specific contemplation prompts to help you explore yourself in a loving and compassionate way.

Apart from an open mind and heart as well as a willingness to be guided, you will need to bring paper or a journal and your pens/pencils/markers or any other means of putting lines (and colour) on a page. This process advocates heartwork rather than artwork so there is no need to invest in expensive markers (unless you are an doodle addict like me!). It is ok to use what you have in the house or buy some cheap pencils or markers from a local shop if your drawers are empty.
